The Harvard Group was founded in 1987 by Vince Caracio on the premise that a significant gap existed between the typical customer “advisory council” and the charter of a corporate Board of Directors. The lack of IT operational and technology knowledge among corporate directors needed augmentation by a recurring resource to help C-Suite Executives validate marketing strategies, identify business and economic trends and develop early course corrections.
Since 2004, Mark Caracio has served as President and CEO. Today the Harvard Group continues to deliver its programs to almost every part of the technology ecosystem. Many of the associates and principals of the firm have served as CXOs at a Fortune 500 company. This brings a level of experience and expertise around emerging technologies, the IT competitive landscape, impacts of prevailing policy changes and the procurement challenges required of today’s leading firms.
